In the fall of 2006, Baylor University's Film and Digital Media Department teamed up with Steve Collins and his Troubadour Studio to showcase emerging Texas bands and artists. The format would be 30-minute video podcasts shot on High-Definition digital video and distributed via the web. The idea was inspired by shows such as Austin City Limits and MTV Unplugged: a studio, a band, a film crew, everything captured live. The vast majority of the camera work, video editing, special effects, and lighting was done by Baylor's advanced production students -- both graduate and undergraduate. All video editing was done using Apple's Final Cut Pro. Special effects were added via Apple's Shake. On this site you can see and hear everything that went down. You can also download both video and audio-only cuts of each shows -- free. Everything is released under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.5 license.
